About this Event

Please join us for a Commemorative Air Force TRARON Formation clinic at the Conroe, TX Municipal
Airport – KCXO from March 12-15, 2026 (Thursday to Sunday).

All current 2026 Commemorative Air Force TRARON members are welcome, and training will be offered in the T-6/SNJ/Harvard, T-34 Mentor, and other types of TRARON aircraft may be acceptable if there are enough participants and instructors to provide training. Participants must be Commemorative Air Force members and TRARON membership will be required to be issued a FAST card. TRARON membership questions can be directed to Denise Walker 817-798-7757

Ground school will be provided at 6PM on Thursday the 12th for those needing initial formation ground instruction. Arrival day is also Thursday the 12th and the clinic will begin with a mandatory safety briefing at 0800 on Friday. Training will conclude during the morning of Sunday the 15th, with departure day being also Sunday the 15th.

The Commemorative Air Force STRONGLY advises that formation clinic participants bring personal
parachutes that are in current repack/inspection status. The parachute should be worn during all solo or dual flights during the clinic for both front and rear seat occupants. Although no portion of your training will involve dual aerobatics, the CAF is emphasizing aircrew safety in light of numerous recent accidents involving formation flights.
